Don't get mad! Get vag! Vaginal bleeding in the nonpregnant patient (from postpartum to postcoital to postmenopausal) is a common emergency department complaint. Emergency department management can vary from NSAID prescriptions to uterine artery embolectomy with gynecology. Below are some helpful tips for whatever flavor of vaginal bleeding comes through your door next.
